The site is a destination for users seeking scenic weekend drives, automobile events, industry news and articles related to the automobile industry. As an event and news driven web site, WeDrive uses our Motivity™ Content Management to perform frequent, timely updates to content throughout the site.
For their special section dedicated to enlightening users to California's many scenic drive routes throughout the state, we developed a Flash based interactive map administered through the CMS. WeDrive staff can easily add new scenic drive info links to be highlighted on the map without any web design knowledge. Site visitors see an overview of information about each of the drive routes and click through to view full stories.
Since relaunch the site has seen an increase in site activity. The site is attracting new visitors, visitors are staying longer on the site, they’re viewing more pages and they’re attending more of WeDrive's featured events. This has had a side benefit of keeping the customer database up to date for direct marketing activities which we provide through ongoing online marketing services such as email campaign management.
